Perhaps the original inhabitants of this small hut on the edge of the high country near Sale in Victoria always meant this to be part of our Federation.

60th Wedding Anniversay – Diamond

Like diamonds in the rough,

Life in this bay,

can be tough

That’s something to say,

When I met this old couple,

One smiling summer day.

He came out from Italy,

Left his baby behind,

A new life away from Tripolly,

Gold of Apollo he did find.

Now 60 years they did marry

That life it went so fast,

The rain, the sun , the parry,

Of true love it did last.
