As my blog stats approach 6,000 hits I feel the need to thank those people that pass this way in cyber space. Thanks to Cameron Stow who applied for an Asia Literate Grant that saw him and me meet Tom March at University of Ballarat in 2011, almost a year ago. Tom’s 2 day workshop appears as a tab on my site for all those do-it-yourselfers who want one of these blogs.
Thanks to all those people that leave comments on the design and layout of Hughes Education. So while I kickback outside an empty country pub I’m thinking of the words to an old song that relates to this reflection. Neil Young – Rust Never Sleeps
‘It’s better to burn out than to fade away.’
Spend enough time constructing one of these word press sites and you might experience both.

The drought in Victoria is just a memory. Rain and more rain. Heavy, steady and drizzle. Walking along the Warrandyte riverbank last Saturday I spotted an old Red River Gum. I laid down and took this photo
