ANZAC DAY 2012

Antartic Blast

Dawn came really fast,

With the Antartic Blast

Our flag of Blue and Red

Was spread across that mast.

We stood and listened

While the rain drops glistened,

A change of pace,

Singing Amazing Grace.

The medals of a hero,

I wore with pride,

All theatres of World War 2

Represented on my right side,

And for that

I will always remember,

The price of freedom

Was paid

For us to reside,

Our home.
