   Peter, just interested in Pilot boat MV Effie, do you know of its whereabouts at the moment?

     To my knowledge the boat has been lost. The photographs were taken when the boat was moved from Ross Haven marina when I left the island in 2005. A lot of work was involved inj building the craddle and moving the vessel safely,
     I feel sad it is now lost.
     Storage problems and lack of foresight was the issue. Another of Queensland’s maritime vesels is gone forever
